Mitre made of white Sentia, a fabric of 55% silk and 45% man-made fibers. Adorned with machine embroidered gold, silver and antique gold threads. This set was designed for the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. The lines in this design are parts of concentric circles that represent the community gathered around the figure of Mary on the square of the Sanctuario, each alone but united in prayer. A community composed of men and women from all over the world. The white fabric refers to the immense light during the apparition of Our Lady. The gold and silver threads used to embroider the lines reflect the ornamentation on the vestment of Our Lady. Please indicate the head circumference or hat size in the Comments section at check out.
